Worship
Shalom’s worship services offer a mix of traditional hymns and psalms, and more contemporary congregational songs.  In the spring, we will often blend our evening worship with a small group Bible study for 6-8 weeks.  Special services augment the Christmas/Advent and Lent/Easter seasons as well.  In June and September we often schedule an outdoor service, and there are occasional joint services with our sister congregations in the Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Falls, First CRC of Sioux Falls and Heartland Community CRC.  Join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. (NOTE: From February 26, 2012 – April 1, 2012 we’ll be engaged in a study concerning spiritual gifts during the evenings.  Worship time will begin at 5:45 p.m., followed by the study.)

Aesthetics Ministry
The worship team is looking for another person to assist Ann Feikema with visual decorations for the sanctuary. This usually consists of making flower arrangements, and ordering poinsettias and Easter lilies. The team is also looking for a person to assist with changing the banners.  If you would be interested in helping in this way, please let Jaci Schaap or Deb Vogel know.  Thank you!
